How can i create a movie so it can be an animated gif with a transparant backgroud??

do an animation and output as image sequences (individual frames) and then take into something like Paint Shop Pro which (hopefully still) has a tool for creating animated gifs from the frames you have. Make sure the background is a flat colour and set that colour as transparent in each frame.
