attach surfaces ?
 

Hi,

Am very new to maya.
Trying to model an sgi O2 workstation here. I want to add a shape onto another shape, in the image the shape i want to add is highlighted in white. How can this be done. How to add detail to a surface when the detailed shape is in form of a single CV curve or other surface?
