Thats nice, especially for your first ever human head, but the neck is a bit too squary, try and make it more round, also try and push the cheeks back slightly.

You should allways use references, i know that if you don`t have digital foto its hard to find one but try!!! I allways have problem with references, guys can you post some links to sites that you use for references??? THX in advance!!!

If you're willing to pay for reference fotos, I'd suggest checking out www.3d.sk...

Haven't tried it myself, but the lo-res photos look pretty good, though pretty small, but of course, there'd be no point in posting the large ones for free download if you wanna get payed :)

Good first attempt , beter than mine ever was, things that im trying to work on in regards to head modelling are nostrils, jaw line and the chin, once these are taken into account, you work quality definatly picks up, its taken me a while to take these things into account when modelling the human form, and yes reference is the key to everything as the other guys have allready stated.
good work, keep it up

cheers
Ben

P.S also the nape at the back of the neck and tendons around the side of the neck and head.

thx for all comments...in future I will definitly use reference...
;)
