weight painting query
 

i have bound skin on a short stubby-legged character & have been weight painting. when I tried to animate a walk, the legs & texture stretch and deform.

Please could you tell me why this is happening & if i can fix it - how do i go about it?

are you sure you have painted the weights correctly, with the correct value aswell

thanks for the reply. i thought i did, but i will try some variations again on weight to different joints. i didnt know if it was because i made the legs very short & have never tried that before.
