first animation attempt

Hey, this is my first animation

was looking for some feedback.

To cut a long story short, its about a guy who gets burgled, then dwons his sorrows. While he's downing his sorrows, he gets burgled again, only this time its the 'good guy' putting his stuff back.

This is the first scene. Im working on the next one now. Any help would be appreciated. Pls be gentle, this is my first go.

Character and rig was courtesy of http://rodri.aniguild.com
Found at www.highend3d.com

No sound as yet.

Pretty adventurous for your frist animation, i recommend starting from basics. Understand the 12 principles of animation and practice body mechanics before attempting human emotions.

Shoot video reference of yourself before animating a scene and plan out your shots before touching the software.
Alot of your animation was hitting walls and looked mechnanical, another major thing is anticipation, you had alot of seriously fast movements... which is fine but the faster the motion the greaters the anticipation needs to be.
Be aware of overlapping and what part of the body will move first in a motion, the brows often anticipate the action of the head etc.

Essential animation reading:
Animation survival kit by richard williams
The Illusion Of Life
Anatomy books, ones relivant to motion are good, i recommend dynamic figure drawing by burne hograth.
The 12 principles: here
Good Luck ! :)

Adventurous scene, and a good attempt, modelling was relatively strong and the idea has potential.

I didnt intend on creating a full blown scene. i download the character and rig from highend3d to have a play around with animation, but then i started getting OTT and over excited lol

THANX!
