Far cry won't work!
 

I just bought far cry because I loved the demo and heard so much good about it here, and now it doesn't work! When I try to start a campaign the loading bar goes 1/8 of the way and just stops... It's not just a long wait, I waited for over ten minutes and I have a very fast computer.

The people at ubi said it was my video card- it's a quadro FX 1000. Does anyone else have a similar setup, and did you have any problems?

did you install the patch that is out for far cry?

i know if makes load times faster and makes the cryvision look better. not sure if it fixes compatability issues though

that's kinda weird.
if the demo worked it isn't depended on your video card.
just try to reinstall everything(DX, FC, and the patch)
I hope you will solve the problem because that's a game you don't wanna miss! :D

Hrmm, gonna try this patch thing... if that doesn't work I'll do what Bluekorrie said.

Try to update your video card. Far Cry wouldn't load up for me, so I updated it and it works great know.

its boring after 20 mins anyway LOL

The game it self is average but online it’s a way cool.:rambo:
