I just want default selection back (purple+yellow) I have tried everything to bring it back

Hit " B " on the keyboard

You've got soft select turned on... seems to me there should be a sticky in the newbie forum for how many times it's showed up. Hit 'b' to toggle it as Coldwave said, or activate/de-activate/modify it in the tool settings for more options.
