not many could give an answer from all that code.., but you have described the problem well enough i think without all that :)

set the render globals

name.#.ext (this readies maya for animating image sequences.., another word might be.., moving pictures, movies.., nor still frames.

set the amount of frames.., default is 1-10

how many frames.., ecery second?? or ALL

next frame padding.., set it to 5 (helps the composite app )

the rest im sure you know

you could read more in the help files (I hate it when people say that)

or

go to the FREE tut here on SM on rendering.., by Mike if i recall.., nice vibe video :)

hmm , i guess i should explain in detail abit more. I have done batch renders before and they have worked. I have done all the stuff that you told me to do except the set global renders, Im not sure where that is. Thank you for helping me though, I really appreciate it

oh and one more thing. It seems that batch render only wants to work in certain scenes that I have. moslty in my older scenes. If i create a new scene it wont work.

??????

i thought thats all i told you to do??

anyqway., render globals is the icon next to the render icons.., (clapper boards) at the top right on your status line. you will find it very difficult indeed to render if you dont know where the render globals live :)

worth a look!

best of luck
