I was just doing a tutorial in this issue of Highend magazine and just imported the DNA from this web site. www.rcsb.org/pdb/

neet looking..since I don't get highend maybe you could tell us a little about it.. like what did you get at that websight ? was it a 3d model or information that you used to have like a mel script creat that ?

pdbreader.mel v1.4 from www.highend3d.com Maya>Mel>scripts>Modeling

jPivToParticle.mel www.highend3d.com Maya>Mel>scripts>dynamics/FX

particledeformationPoly.mel www.highend3d.com Maya>Mel>scripts>dynamics/FX


bond.mel and extrudOMatic.mel
www.kellerific.com/scripts.html

chime from www.mdl.cpm/downloads/downloadable/

RasMol from http://www.umass.edu/microbio/rasmol/

and protien DNA from www.rcsb.org/pdb/

and install pdbreader.mel and downlaod a pdb file from www.rcsb.org/pdb Then run the script and it will take the scientific data and import it into Maya as nurbs spheres.

cool image,... but I think it would look better if you did it with white or pinkish background... that's my oppinion... :p ;)
