Trimmed surface appearance

Hi Everyone,
I have a small problem regarding the appearance of trimmed surfaces. Is the only way to control the appearance of the
join line of two trimmed surfaces only controlled by the
amount of division you apply in the display\ nurbs\smoothness,
Only the results I,m getting are still showing a seam or am I
missing something.

Thanks for any help.

With trims (or with nurbs in general) what you see is not what you get. It all comes down what looks good enough in render and that depends on the tesselation settings of the surface.

Thankyou

Thanks kbrown,
Been looking at those settings, makes more sence to me now
threw me slightly not having a join function and a convert to
poly which was what I was looking for.

Thanks again for clearing that up for me.

Ribbons.
