Name that tool

I'm going through the Maya Fundamentals video tutorials and I notice the authors setup a hotkey for some kind of annotation tool (see attached pic). It's not one of the curve tools and doesn't seem to be one of the paint tools but I could be wrong. Anyone have a clue what and where this is so I don't have to annotate in Photoshop when showing a screenshot?

do you mean the pencil?
if so ..its nothing to do with maya, its just the screen catch software... something they use to outline stuff mate :) |
Ahhhhh...that explains it!! That's two pints of abbott ale I owe ya!

Yep. They use Camtasia I think. Great program.
Maya should add it to a future version...hint! Hint! |

ya... aw only likes stuff aw.... and they dont!!! like non-aw thing doing aw stuff...]
????? |
It's all good. If you do a screenshot and have to bring it into photoshop to edit the format and size anyway, it will only take a few minutes extra to annotate with the line and text tools. Null perspiration. ;)

Oh, I just meant that little marking pen tool that Camtasia uses...
Not the video part.... |
