Mech made with the tutorial
this the mech i made with te tutorial guide from this website
note this is the first time i worked with maya i think it came out pretty good... the render is made in 3d max using vray... don't look at the colors because they are a bit wrong :P http://members.home.nl/loenredmer/mech_max.bmp |
the colors look fine.
now if you can add a few ewoks it'll look cool. lol |
The work looks great, though i wonder how he can balance when he got so much weigth in front :)
Well if you animate him that shouldn't be a problem i guess :) |
then i first need to figure out how animation works in maya :D
i know a little bit how it works in 3ds max |
looks very good ..... congrats on your first model in maya .... hopefully you learned alot and I dont think it is bad at all ... .i like them but that is me
|
thnx i have learned allot
now i'm making the apache model of k. brown that is very much fun. also spending some time making the ferrari model and also the yamaha model so i'm quit busy with 3 different models :bandit: is there also a way to export the whole model in maya to 3d max including all the smooths and materials... now i exportered as .obj but that doesn't include the smooths and materials... is there a way to export it to a .3ds |
the apache model is like 30 parts long.
that should be an interesting (and loooooooooooooong) thread. stay with us! :) |
i'm at the 10 part so long way to be finished.
i will post a message in WIP soon about the apache model |
your robot mech or whatever looks pretty darn nice!
|
thank you
i liked it to now i need to figure out how to texture this huy |
if you havent got a clue then buy the texturing tutorial for it! :p
|
i know :P
first need to save money again :P |
that is way awesome, but the legs are placed so far back that it looks like it'd fall over.
|
It looks amazing considering it's your first time in Maya, I must get my hands on that tutorial so I can learn more. Keep up the good work.
|
