Going to model some columns...posting for feedback.

Very nice and very detailed. No crits here. Are you going to "age" it and beat it up a bit?

Looks terrific! What method do you use to get the little detailed swirls around the column if you don't mind me asking.

great start so far would love to see this aged and textured

I won't be able to post any shots of the final project but perhaps after I finish, I'll age it and such.
I started with the end of a cylinder and then just started cutting in alot of edges with the split polygon tool. Then I extruded away from the cylinder to create the bridge to the other swirl if that makes sense.

I have to agr agr agree with bullet, if you were to bring the leave closer to the base and make them thicker that could work......impressed dave
