Hi guys, im having problems in texturing the iris below with an texture that i made in Photoshop. How i texture the iris below? The shape has to be a polygon shape or nurbs? Help please:rolleyes:

im not too hot when it comes to texturing, but maybe you want to take a UV snapshot of the shape and work the iris image over that in photoshop? dnt really understand UVs

Can we see a screeny of what your problem is?

Also, in case you wanted it for future use, here is an action I made that creates a custom iris texture automaticly:

Also, have you tried a simple planar map?

my problem is that i dont know how to project this texture at the shape in the picture above!!

When you map a texture to the color of your material, at the top of the Create Texture window you have 3 choices, the default and most used one being Normal. You can, if you wish, choose to use a Projection. This will create a placement node in your scene which you can place that shows how the texture will project on the surface you apply it to.

or if your shape is nurbs interactive placement will fix the problem, im sure of that :)

You'll probably want to parent them to the eyeball and then you can just hide them.
