Godess effect?
 

Hey I am attempting to recreate the goddess creation of Hyrule from the zelda64 game. I have modeled the goddess but can’t seem to get her outer ring glowing quite right. Should I use particles, or some fancy light tricks? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I posted a screen shot below for reference.

Sorry I'm not familliar with this game, so to answer your question, I'm not sure.

It looks like an asteroid-type thing flying through some stars?

Is there an animation around that would help me to help you get the effect you are looking for?
