Stupid $%&@ing IK handles

I just missed my assignment deadline after staying up all night working on this but I would still like to get some marks by handing it in a week late. I spent two hours doing the animation then after saving and reloading it, it had wiped all information regarding to the locations of the IK handles and had just left them at the final keyframe. I am sure that I set them when I keyframed, what else could be doing it?

Gaaah!!!
Why does this program have to be so freakin complicated, trying to recover my model and one of it's wrists has gone really thin and now it just will not go back to it's normal size.

It just flipped around half my IK handles, all I tried to do was set the key frames!!!

Maybe you just happened to get a Gimbal lock.

Patience bud. Don´t know how to fix it, since I don´t animate yet, but you can now research it a bit further to see how to fix it.

Im sorry to hear and I dont have any real solution (I just bought Maya, cant stand with the watermark in PLE), did you delete the history for the object when you were finished with it?

And it also good to often save to diffrent files, like scene01, scene02 and so on. Then its easy to go back. I do that before every major change, and also sometimes between. If somethings goes wrong, instead of trying to make it right (just undo or delete the changes doesnt always work, sometimes some things you can't see is still there, like parameter changes and so on) I just open up a previous version of the scene and start it all over from there until it works (and I have to do that alot because im a complete newbie).

Pardon for my bad english.
