Elephants - Original SM Gallery Image by Ward
 

Images transferred from our old site. These elephants were modeled in Maya 4.5, rendered with Mental Ray and composited into the live background in Shake back in 2003. I think it's all done extremely well.

First one looks a little off...the 2nd one is bloody nice.

I was kind of thinking of him when I uploaded this to the gallery actually:) And the first one is great bullet you nutter:giggle: look again at the lighting on the elephant and then look at the backplate it's composited onto. I would have gone for real as well.

I was rendered speechless by a) how great they are and b) the fact that they had been on the old site all this time and I'd missed them.

They are really nice. I actually like the first one better then the second, cant really say as why that is but tis the case non the less. But i like them both, Great work.

Yeah I'm amazed and curious how I never saw them before. Glad these popped up!
