Smoot Proxy Question
 

Hello,

I have been following the Chopper Tut on maya the AH-64D and the first part he uses proxy smooth he has no trouble in setting the divisions, my problem is when i select Proxy Smooth and go change the Divisions i dont not have the options under imput called

polySmoothFace1 i only have this
polySmoothProxy1

to make this seem less confusing when watching the video his Imput options are

pCylinder1SmoothMesh
polySmoothFace1

where as mine is

pCylinder1SmoothMesh
polySmoothProxy1

the only way to change divisions is by select smooth, from the polygon menu, but i dont get a refrence pic with layers, so maybe its a maya fault and need to contact alias or my fault?
