Rig - Root node problems

Hi,

I've been trying to do some character rigging, and everything is going great, EXCEPT :

When I try to apply any transformations to my root joint (move/rotate etc) only the joints below the hip move, the spine, shoulder, arms, head joints dont move with the root.

PICTURE IS ATTACHED

How can I fix this problem?

Thanks,

The IK spline handle you have on your spine is what's causing your "problem". What's happening here is, even though spine joints are children of the root joint, their transforms are being affected by the IK spline curve. Moving the root joint will not move the spine joints. A simple solution is to parent the IK spline curve, not the IK spline handle, to the root joint.
