circular fillet

Hello, I quickly explain you my problem:
I have modeled a dolphin with nurbs primitive and I've connect the fins to the body by circular fillet. It's all right but when i try to animate my model the circular fillets go away. How can I do to solving my problem. I try with 'Paint Skin Weights tool' but nothing to do ... I hope someone help me ... thank to all

the circular fillet will follow the change as the two isoparms
or surfaces it was created from move...
I can't imagine how you set up the fin but
try if it would work for you to delete the history
on the circular fillet so the shape does not update anymore....

Hope you work it out...

Thank you Konstantinos,
I have tried to delete history but it does not work :(((
another aid ?
Thanks

if you delete the history, then it won't work... your fillet needs to keep its history in order to keep incontact with your pieces.

I would *strongly* suggest that you not retain construction history in your rig like that, as the rig will soon become incredibly heavy.

A better approach is to use stitching to keep surfaces continuous across deformations. (Unfortunately, Maya's stitching isn't that good...)

I agree with mark. The Shark vid and Arm Stitching vid might help in this regard.
