good tablet?

After giving up on using a joystick I'm thinking of getting this

http://cgi.ebay.com/UC-Logic-WP5540-...item3a53bb8b39

According to reviews it seems to be good although the space is a bit small but I'll be able to buy it right away. All the Intuos I've seen are too expensive (if they have pens) or are on auction and tend to go too high. I can risk waiting for a Bamboo to show up on ebay for the right price but again it'll be a wait and it might get bid up too high. Plus Bamboos don't have tilt, so I don't know if there is any real advatage it would have over a generic tablet.

Does anybody know if I'm giving up too much to pass up Wacom?

Well I'm not a stickler for brand names but I don't know about the longevity of that particular brand. It would really suck if you feel like painting or whatever and the tablet doesn't work! But I guess for $30 you could take a chance.

I got a wacom secondhand for 40$ so try to find a wacom on ebay ! just add those 10 extra $ but you will face quality

Another option would be Aiptek, I have their ultra slim (about 5mm thick) A4 tablet, had it a year now and it works exactly the same as it did the day I got it, and at £65 a great buy!
Over a thousand levels of sensitivity and you can feel them working! And 29 programmable macro keys.
Lightweight is a must for me though as I lack room to have it on my desk as I have it covered in Monitors, keyboards and my scanner, so it's great for moveability, take it anywhere and don't notice the weight in a bag etc.

Saying all that I'd love a Wacom, I know they are better overall, but I'm quite happy to wait til my one's on it's last legs to get one.
