This is really my first attempt at using softbodies. It's just simple object moving through a liquid like surface.

Almost looks like you parented several air and turbulance fields to the bottom of the stick. How close am I?

I finally got the look I wanted. Like in reality, the water in front of the object pops up a bit, and the water behind the object collapses, ripples, and twirls around.
