a farm with a twist
 
hey ho all i am starting a new project its about a farm yard, magic and all cool stuff.
here is the first model,btw it aint finished yet i need to add loads of deatil befor i start textures.here is the origianl house

oh yea but i want to put the tiles on first then the chimney, i'm gonna need another picture of an old farm house for the tiles to so off to google. i have tomorrow off from college so i think i could finish the house if i get my head down

here you go textures are starting to come along and dont look at the roof its green for textureing reasons, colour coding my textures helps speed things up.

ok so i'm gonna break my wood work on the building i broke the front as a test to see if it looks older, what do you guys think? and the basic textures are done and just need detials, I also upgraded my window material to look a bit more glass like.

i know it's not much of an update but i keep gettin power cuts and i never saved, a valuable lesson has been learnt.

this is it all done, i have been playing with lighting and here are my results.to different rigs here, could you say with was is more realistic for out door lighting. take into consideration the GI and FG in both the images and i can mix and match the rigs, like take the sky light from the 2nd one and put it in the first rig

wow this is really good, i like the model and can't wait to see the barn along with it. good lighting in the first, it looks realistic :beer: .

the first rig i used was of my own design just a bunch of directional lights with different colours and strengths but the other is from a tutorial.
i will post my drawings for my barn later so you lot can see it befor i start modeling

makes sense really i put every lil trick in the book into that render.
here is the first part of the barn, won't take to long to model but the texture are the bit thats gonna be time consuming.
