maya physical sun and sky
 

i hope someone can help me out.
It's my first time to use the physical sun and sky feature of maya 2008. I am trying to breakdown my scene into layers.

Does physical sun and sky work with the render layers? Because i tried to create a shadow pass but i did not see any shadow.

please help me....thank you!
