Don't use a Nurbs Square. Or, if you want to use it, attach the four sides together first. That's why the result is seperated.

Or, attach the polygon result together and merge the vertices and such.

thanx for the fast reply, im trying to use a polygon square and its telling me there are no curves to animation sweep.

and i can't seem to figure out how to close up the nurbs square

a poly square won't work because it has to be a curve (nurbs). To attach the 4 sides together, use Edit Curve > Attach. In the options, use the Connect option instead of Blend. Do this for the first 3 corners. For the 4th, it won't work. you'd have to use Open/Close Curve for the last corner.

when i use the attach curves operation it makes it into a nurbs circle, i was gonna try and keep it in the form of a square if i could.

or am i doing it wrong?

sounds like Blend is on in the options. Use Connect instead.

yeah, blend was on, thanx a bunch
