Exporters/Imports for md2
 

Hey i was wondering if anyone knew were i can get importers\exporters from maya to md2 if you will... or even 3dsmax.

I guess you are not interested in an intermediate file format.

There are plugins around, but most are designed for Maya 5 and have limited access to source code to recomplie.

Try ID Software as they use MD2/3 for Quake and Doom. I also have an ebook on Quake 4 Modding if that is what you are interested in.

The goal i am after is to export to a md2 from maya 8.0 for my own little video game i am going to make, and for gtk jedi academy mapping.
