MAYA Hair instead of Cloth?
 

I was trying to do a skrirt in MAYA using HAIR instead of CLOTH. HAIR just seemed easier. O_o Is there a right and wrong way of doing clothes using HAIR? The Collision settings are already pretty high but they still won't behave properly.

I think hair is good to fake a curtain instead of clothsimulation, but when you will simulate cloth on an character with the behavior of a real cloth it will be better to use MayaCloth or Syflex.
