Download section??
 

Hello at all!! Does somebody know how I can Download some uploaded geometries from other users?
Some of them aren´t downloaded, I mean my texteditor opens and I see a big code wich I don´t know or DON`T KNOW HOW TO ENCODE!?!

Can anybody help me with this topic?? Because there are some really cool Models to Download!! :attn:

Do you you download a ma. file?
I always get that ... text(Code) or what it is!
I´m downloading with a MAC!

a .ma file is a maya ascii file... when you download the .ma file, save it somewhere, open maya, then open the .ma file with maya.

thanks! But when it was a ma. file I hadn´t that problem!
When I click "Download" then my texteditor opens and I see a huge "CODE" or somethhing like that!
Try to download some things!
probably you get the same results!!!

when you download, are you choosing 'open' or 'save as'?

choose save as and pick a place to put it... if text editor is opening it, then your program associations are off... you could be trying to save someone's .rar file and you don't have winRAR installed... *shrug*
