KindDoggOfWar - Winter Challenge
 

My sport for this challenge will be Bobsledding. I want to put some touches on the gear, maybe tweak the sport to make a cooler picture but I have started the helmet today. Heres a picture, lowpoly & smoothed.

Rouph model of want I want the bobsled to look like, will finish this then go back and redo the entire thing so it will look crisp and ill know what to do! its red to define the curves more

Looking like a good start, the course should be fun to do, is Rouph the name of the model??

thanks! rouph isnt the name, This is just a quick model, a small put together to find out what I want to make. This isnt the final model im working on, just a little pre-model. I couldnt get on my computer for more than 30min today so i just fixed some small areas and changed the shape a bit

thanks mtmckinley! and yes, i mean rough as in a rough draft or rough sketch! Im getting this done little by little but it should be done soon so i can start the real thing!

thank you!I dont have any concept pics, im just concentrating on models right now, then I will think about the surroundings and environment. I dont even know what i want it too look like, im taking parts off random bobsleds and mixing them together! This is a combination of about 3-4 bobsleds so far...
What I want is the bobsled coming around a banked curve being followed (Fairly far away) by another bobsled. Then the fun! I want the bobsledder in back (its a two man bobsled) to turn around with a futuristic pistol (kinda like han solos) and firing at the bobsled behind. Combat Bobsledding. Sounds retarded and probably will be but i want to do it anyway!:p Id like to mess with some chrome shaders on the gun.
This is coming along slowly now because ive been extremely busy. Over this thanksgiving break I should be able to get alot done!:D

small update on the helmet!:p I tweaked the bobsled a bit, but i think beside texturing, the rough sled is done. I might put it in the background for the final, but definitely not the main focus.
