2dtexturePlacement node won't show
For the first time I'm creating shaders where for some reason the 2dTexturePlacement nodes are being created when I click a shader sphere in Hypershade.
I looked under Create > Create Options, and the Always Create 2DPlacement node option is selected. So I don't understand what's happening. I'm hoping its something silly like I deselected something somewhere else. I don't mind feeling stupid. I just want to figure this out. Thanks in advance. (Maya v6) |
The 2D Placement node will only show when you have a texture node, not when you have a material. You can have a blinn, but if you have not mapped a texture to it, you won't have the placement node available.
