adding refplanes mel script to shelf
 

Hi all :) im trying to start the apache tutorial , but i'm having trouble adding the refplanes mel script to the shelf . my problem is i am unable to select the text and place it on the shelf , any help given would be greatly appreciated as i would like to further my knowledge of this software... i am using maya 5 on a Mac :)

Tried typing it in the script editor and dragging it from there?

If everything else fails, you can just execute the script by pressing enter after you've typed refplanes; in the command line...
