Any tips for rendering in passes in Maya 2009

Hi,

Does anyone have any tips on rendering passes (ambient occlusion, beauty, shadow, etc...) passes in Maya 2009?

A pointer to some tuts would be great!
regards

Jim

Is it out yet??

We've not got the e-mail as yet for it.

I would have a guess that is the same as 08, but not having it I cant say for sure.

Theres a tutorial on here by Rage that goes over passes in 08 which might help you out?

Yeah, at the MN Maya user group meeting last night our guy had a demo copy, but I personally won't upgrade for a while as I like to keep the same version at home so it matches my version at work so things don't have issues, etc.

I can't wait to try it tho:)

I'll make an update to the video tutorial when I get it:)
