Too many connections ?!?

Today I've got many times this message while browsing the board:

Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Too many connections in /home/forum_simplymaya/public_html/admin/db_mysql.php on line 38

Is it just me or do you guys get it as well?
