stage 2 of the head modelling. still in poly. I might switch to nurbs . will see later.

Looking really good!

Not sure if your mesh is at that constant density? if not you may want to watch out for the areas of pinching around the nostrils and corners of the mouth.

Keep it up :)

iron_tick 08-11-2003 07:23 AM

Thanks

That mesh is constant with no pinching.
ill get up a mesh only shot in the morning.

LauriePriest 10-11-2003 08:44 PM

i think the cheek loop is wrong.... hmm may just be me =s, it may skew in animation even though not now .... possibly..... though im no expert... i just dont think the polys should run down from the eye into the mouth, simply because wrinkles dont flow like that

iron_tick 10-11-2003 09:55 PM

I see what you mean. it may cause a porblem but, i think i can control it with some mel scripts to constrain verticie movement. If i can, ill keep it this way just for the sake of shape flow. that guys got a curvy face so i let my geometry follow contours more than shape. Gives me more control over the distinguishing marks.

LauriePriest 11-11-2003 08:06 AM

true, just thought i wud say, the shape is looking great though

Scraggy_Dogg 14-11-2003 07:58 AM

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is Bowflex?

Whatever it is, and whatever the advertisement is like?
