Wood textures - good source or how to create
Hi all,
I've tried Filter Forge - though the images are great, it is generally only for tiling (I think) - I want to create a large, non-repeating texture. I've googled for images and not been able to find any of a suitable size. I've also tried googling tutorials though the few I've came across aren't all that good. Just wondered if anyone has any suggestions. cheers, gubar |

Cheers for that. My current character is not all that suited to zbrush, but I'm gonna try some more stuff with it soon for my project.
Found a decent wood image on the net after all - tweaked it in photoshop. For the bump, difuse and specular eccentricity, I've just used a single desaturated image, but I reckon it's looking pretty good. A couple of images if anyone is interested: thanks, gubar |
