Barbed wire?

Does anyone have any good suggestions on how to create barbed wire? I have a stone wall and I wish to have barbed wire on top of it... Grateful for help as always :)

If you not going to see it close up you could use the paint effects one - if not you just have to model the knot once with bits iva end and duplicate as many time as you see fit
