A newbie and a newbie Question :P

Hi,

Let me introduce myself in my frist post here
My name is Winfred, 18, a Student from Hong Kong...
oops, I'm studying in the UK now.

Yeah, here's my question.

can I do rendering with texture in Hardware particle render ?...
or it's my Display card's problem :(

and how can I join those picture sequence from Hardware render into a single avi/movie file?

Well Software rendering is done by your CPU completely, whereas Hardware rendering is done by your video card. Software rendering is typically slow compared to hardware rendering. Make sure you have the system to render something using your hardware. In some cases you may need a special video card.

I am still new at rendering different things so the second question hurt my brain:banghead:

i am not 100% sure, but hardware particles cannot have a different color/texture over time. that would need s/w rendering.
