color of Border pane in active viewport
 

Yes for some reason in my maya 6.5 the active viewport outside border is gray no matter what view I change too side , top , front the outside border is gray how can I get back to the default color of blue

try, shading>harware fog but it only works with the perspective.... i encountered such similar problem, my active viewport no is black how can i change it back to gray???
