Not a bad model Kurt.

I was looking at this computer at newegg(.)com... Very cool.

Rhetoric Camel 19-09-2008 02:33 PM

that looks cool, I really need to get into zBrush, looks like a lot of fun, just it's all so confusing to me between exporting from maya to zBrush, then all the tools in zBrush and then bringing back to maya, I get lost in it all.

Keep up the good work, and how much did that computer run you if you don't mind me asking?

@ Rhetoric Camel

Have you ever tried using Mudbox, its very easy to pick up compared to zBrush, admittedly it doesn't have all the features of zBrush but it is still very capable of producing fantastic work.

Its layout is much simpler than zBrush and it handles like a traditional 3D package like Maya or Max.

I have been trying it out on little bits n pieces, its a great piece of kit.

no I can't say I've tried mudbox, I could look into it though

jali 19-09-2008 04:40 PM

Yup mudbox is amazing, i actually prefer mudbox to zbrush for the simple fact that it handles just like maya, i'm looking forward to the next mudbox update i hear it will have it's own texturing tools built in much like zbrush:attn:

I concur.. Mudbox is far more intuitive and I'm looking forward to the next version.... ZBrush make my brain hurt.

Rhetoric Camel 19-09-2008 05:09 PM

from what I've been reading mudbox seems to be the way. Anyway, sorry it took over your thread Kurt, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work done, it just keeps getting better with every update
