running scripts
 

why can't i run scripts in maya 2009?
when i type "refplanes;" and run it I keep getting this
// Error: Cannot find procedure "refplanes".

I downloaded a script and tried that but keep getting same error.

any help plz.

You can you probably have got the wrong name or its in the worng directory.

ive put a script in all script locations i can find and i still get the same error

What script is it?

I can take a look at it and tell ya what the problem is.
