Control Vertex question
 

Ok, I was trying to follow part 1 of the dog tutorial, and I have the basic shape of the dogs head. I added the extra 3 isoparms like the tutorial told me to do, and then it says to use control vertex and edit the shape a bit more. So I clicked on control vertex and selected a vertex, but now the move tool wont move any of the vertexes. Is there something I missed here?
