Create a Golfball in Maya
 

Hi,

Can anyone please either explain how to create a Golfball in Maya or direct me please to a tutorial?

I have scoured the web for months and can get a Golfball tutorial in most 3d apps, except Maya.

Any help would be grateful.

I had a look on the net but, like you, found nothing so I made a tutorial myself...

Here made this .ma file with the geosphere plugin, this is for Maya 8.5 so if you want to use it with another version you will have to open it in notepad and change the version number to your version then you can just import it into a scene.

Thanks for the help guys, we use Maya 8.5 at the Office so I'll give it a go.
