After a planar (selecting outer circe then inner shapes)
I am getting this:-

(They are seperate curves not duplicates)

well, in planar options, choose NURBS instead of Polygons. Then use the other curves to project and trim onto the origional planar surface. Should do the trick.

Thanks so much for your advice but I couldn't get it to work.
After the planar the other curves aren't selectable. I again tried duplicating the single "working" curve and applying your suggestions but nothing appears to happen!

I don't understand why one of the lofted curves will work while the other two do not.

Any ideas??

Thanks.

P.S. I am trying to remove the Chilli pepper shapes to make a 3D logo.

planar instead the chili pepper shape, extrude it out to give it thickness and then use that to boolean out holes into a disk. I think that'd be easier.

dude what u do is select the outside circle then shift select the 3 inner spike things then do planar - it works i just tried it

select the outside circle then shift select the 3 inner spike things then do planar

select all 3 spike things in one so only 1 planar is needed
