How can assign new hotkey for Pan

instead of MMB + alt i would like to assign the letter P for it how can i do that it wont let me

If it wont let u its probably because that letter is already in use. u may be able to change letters around.
Personally i dont know why u would wont to?
Alt mmb seems easier to me
