can people make a list of any new-ish first person shooter for pc that they can think of im craving one like a cigarette

all i can think of is

bioshock
halfe life/half life 2
counterstrike
ghost recon
halo series

MOH Airbourne, got it the other day and i havn't put it down.
And if you want to wait Crysis Demo is coming out on the 25th.
Bioshock is pretty good aswell but there is not much to do once you have finished the game.

s.t.a.l.k.e.r is surposed to be good.

I heard that stalker was really buggy though.
TF2 and Portal will be awesome.
Also, there is a Beta for quake wars at file planet and a demo too.

What comp specs would you need to run that smoothly?

For DX9 any current rig can run it. You will almost definatley need a dual core to run it smooth but i think a 6600 is the minimum card and it can be run on. I have to wait another few days to D/load the Beta cause of my stupid capped broadband.

very unique and scary first person shooter to try out. I mean it's been out for over a year but I still consider it a top of the line fps.

What I'm really looking forward to is that new unreal tournament game. Been waiting for that game for like 3 years and I don't even play video games anymore.
