My main critique is that the creature doesn't appear to have an infastructure... skeleton, muscles, etc. It almost would appear to be made of dough, if you take my meaning.

You've definitely improved your use of geometry. No see if you can improve the form. Add muscle details and such.

he has lost his back legs... he was TOO much like a modern day crock, and since they came from the sea, i have removed them so its more like a swimming "sharkodile", as that will be the environment i will create, underwater... but i have to finish him off first...

Really nice, I like the idea of the crock thing eating a fish. 1 miner comment tho, try and make the crock texture differ from the fish a bit more.

it's not actually a texture it was just an attempt at diffusing light, and it came out like a texture, strange eh?
