Elemental Creature

You are to make a creature that has a strong feel / connection to one of the following elements..
Fire.. Water.. Wind.. Earth.. & Metal.. the creature is not to be made all out the element itself.
The creature can be partially human.. but must not resemble one at first sight.
Has to represent Good or Evil.

well it's really up to you man...
i only asked for one element connection.. if you're up to it, and got a wicked idea on a model with more element relations, please model away.. :p

we will put just images of our models ???

the challenge doesn't ask for the *.mb file.. so you just upload your pics here.. :p

or attach the file.. to upload the pic to SM servers..
or link the image with the IMG tag from another server.. :P

can you be more specific I've started a thread, I put my files in the section where it said to put them but ....they don't apear on the thread. I'm new to this kind of things.

reply to your thread.. with the Post Reply button.. in there under the text space.. there is a option Attach File.. click on the Browse button, locate the file on your hdd.. open it.. and submit post.. :D

just one simple question:

would it be a problem to enter a challenge even if that might be my first model? or is the challenge meant for ppl that know already how to model real cool models :confused: or is there a limitation on how many may participate in a challenge?

oops, just realize that my first post is in challenge section :D now please rip my head off and send me to wip, when looking at the challenge posts, it is work in process :rolleyes:

babyduck, welcome to SM, you can enter any model either for WIP or Challenges. If you want feed back from members on your work post in WIP. For the challenges we have them every month with a diffrerent topic, and anyone can join in.

The dragon model I created for the challenge, is only the 4th model Iv'e ever created with Maya.

I have found this challenge forum very frendly and helpfull. I would recomend you give it a go.

The crew and visitors that frequent the forum, are most encouraging and many give constructive feedback, which will help you create more freely with Maya and produce better models.

Looking forward to seeing you in the next challenge.
