Shure i got some inspiration in Scott art he´s SUPER doing that. He has so many detaIls and mechanical stuff i get ideas from it and do it my way.

Yesterday morning at work i did some fast rendering to get an overall feling of the model and i come up with this...

Very cool looking. Reminds me of Cowboy Bebop for some reason.
Cheers,
Penguin

Jay 05-10-2005 06:13 PM

It looks great!!

Scott Robertson, thought so. Just make sure you give it a paint job like Scotts stuff as well if not better.

Best

Looks nice, but I thought youd gone away to do some texturing as its been so long.

Had another thought as to what it looked like, one of the vehicle from the ps2 game, Wipeout Fusion. Its the little fins on the back.

Cheers
Jay

Helder 11-10-2005 09:51 PM

I'm lovin' this model, the detial on the engins are good. Can't think of anyway''s to improve it as yet. Should look even better when textured.

Shader 14-10-2005 12:37 PM

Wow, that is weird, starts to make you wonder of what planetary surroundings it would be flying in which is inspirational.

The nose reminds me of my ex though <--shudders lol

Helder 20-10-2005 09:35 PM

Sorry guys for the dealy of this project but time is my enemy..
Today i did some work on the backend and rebuilded the front windos of the cockpit what do you think ?

Jay

Helder 25-10-2005 10:04 AM

Guys i need your opinoin, the questions is......im not confortable with the cockpit stucture. What do you think ?

Thansk

antiant 25-10-2005 10:31 AM

looking good. :)

I think they structure looks fine, maybe take a close look at the cockpit of a fighter jet to get some ideas, maybe add a few more rivets too bring up the realism.
Keep it up :attn:

Helder 25-10-2005 01:07 PM

Yes rivets will help a lot i did. thanks.....i inpired this cockpik of an old airplane and i did´t seen any reference image for the cockpit....so im not so confortable bout it.

Someont told me it was too squared... but anywy w´ll try the rivets thanks

Helder 03-12-2005 01:35 PM

Guys sorry the delay but i have been away from home HOLIDAYS and i traveled to another continent only now i arrived..plus my computer died....so i had do bought new replacement parts, now im back again.

metallicjet66 03-12-2005 02:20 PM

hey man, when you done with the ship, you should animate it! it will look sweet

Helder 03-12-2005 02:22 PM

Yes i intend too ;)

AbsolutelyWhite 04-12-2005 12:29 AM

Nice work mate, keep it up! :)
I wanna see a pilot too! ..i guess a green fella will do just fine :P

again really nice work.

Helder 05-12-2005 01:58 PM

Why not !!!! a green guy like me.

Lets see what happens ;)

rob2000 06-12-2005 12:19 AM

how did you do the glass, forgive my noob questions as after 6 months of 3d, i still dont know crap.

Helder 06-12-2005 10:24 AM

The shader or the glass (object) attached to the window ?

Tim_LIVID 06-12-2005 10:28 AM

Yer the glass looks quite unasuming and understated. My glass has a tendency to be too reflective or too shinny. I would be interested as well, and I have been doing it for years :D

Helder 06-12-2005 10:42 AM

http://forums.simplymaya.com/attachm...&postid=170940

as in this render?

Tim_LIVID 06-12-2005 10:45 AM

Yer

Helder 06-12-2005 01:51 PM

Ok guys later on i´ll post sme info´s about the shader im not at home right now.

Cheers, laterrrrr guys ;)

rob2000 06-12-2005 06:18 PM

yeah i have no idea how to do the glass or the shader. so how you did it would be great as it looks really sweet. something many models seem to lack. never done a shader before

Helder 06-12-2005 10:20 PM

ok guys !!!!

Well i think i verry simple this solution, a normal blin and the rest you may folllow in the picture

http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/4247/glass4is.jpg

Jay 06-12-2005 11:01 PM

Also turn down the diffuse to zero, Unless you want a color glass then leave at .8
