good luck on this one, it looks dead cool to model :)
looks like the shaders and textures will play a big part on getting it looking old and worn

mayafreak3 11-11-2005 10:24 AM

:D

joed8349 11-11-2005 03:05 PM

Nice choice. It should turn out well. The texturing/shaders may be difficult to achieve, but I hope to see it finished. Good luck.

papalatistudios 11-11-2005 05:28 PM

coinslot :: modeled in maya disp mapped in z-brush.. texture in photoshop ;)

t1ck135 14-11-2005 12:31 PM

I was wondering how you were going to get the worn look but it looks like you've easily achieved it on the coins and slot.
Good going, this could be very realistic looking :)

gster123 14-11-2005 08:49 PM

Very, Very, very nice texturing on the coin slot!!

Can't wait to seethis coming along

ckyuk 14-11-2005 10:10 PM

It's hard to tell what's texture and what's geometry on the coin slot. Very nice.

Coinbox in progress.. I need to work on the glass still. The jackpot text is a displacement. I uv mapped and textured the front panel as well.

THX1138 17-11-2005 10:53 AM

Love your textures! How about a shot of the texture map?

magicsy 17-11-2005 04:45 PM

yea this guy is very good great work pal.
Keep it up.!!

Thanks for the kind words :)

Here is a shot of the uvs with texture for the coinbox as requested. It is still in progress. The glass part of the coinbox I mapped separately so I can use another file for the thin black threads that run through it. I may have to redo some uv's because I need to connect the object beneath this one to this.

peace,

Modeled the rest of the coinbox. The circle W is a displacement map also. Worked on textures and geometry on the front panel a bit also. Changed the glass.
