looks nice but get rid of the black background cause it hides some details

Ok, with a white background :-)

excellent render, however i think the dials are too reflective and they look almost blurred to me. As though there is no detail at all on them.

Cheers man,

Bit of an update, fiddeling with the material settings and lighting at the moment to get it the way I want.

Any comments or criths guys?

Looks good, can i see the floor texture? FYI i suck at texturing modeling is mine thing but i am trying to learn how to texture.

excellent work gster! Well done mate!

Maybe you could add a cord running to a nice big amp. Also, it might be fun to add some band stickers and rough it up a little.

just a thought...

Awesome! Great work on the guitar. The dials looks sweet now that you changed them up a bit. As twisteddragon33 had noted, they seemed blurred. To me, they also seemed a bit too bright and reflective when compared to the rest of the model. But, regardless, it looks top notch, now!

gster123 06-12-2006 11:01 PM

Cheers guys.

starjsjswars - ill post up the texture, its just a simple wood texture tiled in PS and applied to a poly plane, do you mean the settings for the material?

eric - Cheers mate, glad theres an improvement!

arran - Gonna make a little scene for this, with some picks, cables, amp, and of course half drank JD bottle and a packet of Marlbro's!

That is if I get the time.

Stll tweeking the settings to get the materials right, also still need to add a few things to the textures and the model, just to get a high level of detail that i'm attempting to aim for.

pbman 06-12-2006 11:22 PM

Cheers Pbman, the proportions of the neck seem to match my guitar at home, maybe its gos a fat neck??!??

I'm not adding the scratch guard, as i dont like them LOL!

Heres a little update on the materials andthe lighting, still not happy, and suggestions would be great.

Cheers

Heres the texure that I used for the floor, nothing special, just a simple tiled wood texture.
